Unlike many Illinois counties where the clerk and recorder are separate, Champaign County combines both roles under one office. This means vital records and land records are all in the same place.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There is one exception. On the second Wednesday of each month, the office opens at 9:00 AM.
